WE’RE ALL GOING ON AN EGG HUNT
INDULGE in delicious chocolate while raising money for sick children today at the region’s biggest Good Friday event.
Hop into the Easter spirit at the Inverleigh Easter egg hunt and score some sweet treats.
The Easter hunt is separated into age groups of 0-4, 5-8 and over nine years, costing $5 a child, with all proceeds to go to the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal.

The hunt, from 12.45-1.15pm at Victoria Park, is part of the annual Inverleigh Good Friday Appeal Family Fun Day, which draws crowds from around the region.
The day features an auction, live entertainment, an animal farm, face painting, raffle and market stalls.
Children will be in heaven surrounded by a variety of rides, a jumping castle, petting farm and lucky dips.
Organiser Ian Phillips said the fun days had raised more than $100,000 in the past three years.
“It is proof of what a small community with a big heart can do,” Mr Phillips said.
“For over 20 years the fun days have entertained locals and visitors to Inverleigh, while raising much-needed funds to help sick children at the Royal Children’s Hospital.”
The Good Friday Appeal is a not-for-profit charity that raises money to enable the RCH to provide world-class care for our children.
It brings all sectors of the community together to raise funds every year, culminating in a 15-hour telethon on Good Friday.
Meanwhile, if you need to burn off some early Easter indulgence, join the Inverleigh Fun Run. Entrants can choose from a 200m kids’ dash (under five), 1km kids’ fun run (5-8 years), 1km fun run (8-12) and 5km fun run.
Entry costs $15 for adults and $8 to raise money for the Good Friday Appeal.
The run starts at the Inverleigh Skate Park Rotunda and registration is from 8am today.
