Pool rego extension

THE deadline for the mandatory registration of private pools and spas has been extended until November 1.

The five-month extension is in response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The City of Greater Geelong recently contacted private pool owners, providing information and advice about the registration requirements.

The extension give the city the chance to focus on supporting the community and helping local businesses rebuild after the crisis.

Anyone who owns a private pool or spa is still urged to check their safety barriers are 100 per cent safe.
