CHANGE FOR GOOD YOU CAN BANK ON

-

BARWON Health Foundation has coined a new campaign where your spare change can help make a change.

With many retail outlets moving away from using cash to limit the spread of COVID-19, locals have been asked to collect and donate their spare change as part of the Barwon Health Foundation’s campaign.

Barwon Health Foundation executive director Zoe Waters said the #Change4Health campaign was a simple way to make a meaningful difference and have some fun with the kids in your family.

“To join our #Change4Health army, sim#Change4Health ply grab a jar, print out the label in our activity pack, get the kids or your colleagues to colour it in, and start collecting your coins to help improve the health of Geelong,” she said.

“The youngest members of our community are a driving force behind the campaign.

“If you have kids at home, it’s a great way to reward them for doing their homework or chores. We also have a number of parents who are rewarding healthy eating and exercise with spare change.”

When signing up, participants receive an activity pack that includes colouring activities, a mask, an activity sheet to record chores to earn coins, and a label for their coin jar.

The pack has been kindly created by Barwon Health Foundation design partner Paul Kelly Creative.

Funds raised through the campaign will support Barwon Health’s areas of greatest priority and need.
