FIRE AT CBD RESTAURANT

THE source of a blaze that engulfed a central Geelong restaurant is being investigated.

A Fire Rescue Victoria spokesman said crews arrived just after 11pm on Wednesday to find fire coming from a beer garden at the back of a Yarra Street business.

Parma Bar, Sweet Cheeks and Bar Code are located at the site. Parma Bar and Sweet Cheeks are both closed until further notice.

The FRV spokesman said the fire was under control at 11.32pm.
