CLEANAWAY EYES SUEZ

-

WASTE management company Cleanaway has lodged an expression of interest for its multinational competitor Suez’s Australian waste management assets — but says no deal is imminent.

In a statement released to the ASX on Thursday afternoon, Cleanaway said it had expressed its interest in the French giant’s Australian arm.

Suez has reportedly asked the Royal Bank of Canada to help offload its local assets, which could be worth as much as $1bn. With a market cap of $4.54bn, Cleanaway is Australia’s largest waste management company, booking $2.37bn of revenue, more than $500m in earnings and a net profit after tax of $152.9m at the end of last financial year.

Vehicle warning lights need to be heeded – this is sometimes critical. Diagnostic scans can be done on the car computer and most scans will take around 15 minutes to complete to test if it is dangerous or not.

Oil, water and tyres must be checked between services. Cars run so well these days that checking the basics has become oblivious to some drivers. This can lead to expensive, unnecessary repairs.

Leaving services too long can also cause major engine damage and costly repairs.
