RESIDENTS in Anakie and Norlane will have a chance to raise issues with their local councillors this Saturday at a second round of the councillor listening post program.

Windermere Ward councillors Anthony Aitken and Kylie Grzybek will be available to chat informally about any topics of interest at Anakie Community House, from 9.3010.30am and Norlane Community Centre from 11.30am-12.30pm.

The sessions are part of a commitment from all councillors to make themselves accessible to the community in their wards during the year.

All councillors participated in an initial round of Listening Posts in May, with follow-up dates for the Brownbill, Bellarine and Kardinia wards to be announced soon.

Councillor Grzybek said she was looking forward to visiting Anakie and Norlane, after previously holding Listening Posts in Lara and Corio.

“These sessions are a good chance to connect with people face-to-face in a relaxed environment,” Cr Grzybek said.

All community members are welcome to attend the sessions and there is no requirement to pre-register.
