OUR NET ZERO PUSH OFFERS LITTLE BENEFIT

-

RE the claim from Karen L (GA 21/10) that climate change is intensifying, I have lived in Geelong for 50 years and the climate has not changed – the grass is still growing the rain is still coming down and I still have to get rugged up in winter.

Can anybody please give me any evidence of how climate change has changed life in Geelong, Vic or indeed Australia as has been promoted?

Recently read an article in the Canberra Times that the Maldives would be completely covered with water in 30 years time — article was written in 1988!

Australia produces approx. just 1 per cent of the world’s greenhouse gases and if we get it to zero it would have absolutely no effect on the world’s total gas emissions. If you really cared about it, start getting China back to zero emissions first before worrying about Australia.
