Geelong Falcons midfielder has overcome injuries in his first two seasons to finally crack the big league.

Stephens was among four changes for Geelong’s clash with the Giants, with Patrick Dangerfield, Francis Evans and Quinton Narkle returning. Skipper Joel Selwood, Max Holmes and Shaun Higgins are out with injuries, while Ollie Dempsey was omitted.

Luke Dahlhaus will again be the medi-sub for the Cats.
