NDIS STATEMENTS SHOW UNCARING LEADERSHIP

-

LINDA Reynolds stating,

“All NDIS participants are provided with detailed reasons for any NDIS decision ...”, is meaningless – has she ever had to navigate Centrelink or the NDIS process?

Adding to the trite and obvious, Ms Reynolds states: “As an insurance scheme, participant plans can go up or down dependent on the individual’s disability related needs.”

These are people with a disability, whose family representatives take up their parental and family obligations to ensure a life quality for those who need assistance.

And when they complain they get this hollow rubbish thrown at them.

These are typical allencompassing media-driven statements that miss the point and are devoid of care and compassion, surely approved by accounting, legal and media departments.

Let Ms Reynolds provide an audited figure of how many increases and decreases have occurred in its participants, which is a shocking label for people who are actually your responsibility to care for as disabled clients.

As if these disabled Aussies “participate” at their own choice.

Her statements are, in effect, an insult to the disabled persons and their families as she is dismissing their issues with a broadbrush “go away” statement.

This is not the caring Australia that I believe in.

It is not transparent, appropriate leadership.
