DERELICT BUS STOP A SHELTER IN NAME ONLY

-

I AM writing about the sheer neglect by the City of Greater Geelong of the disgusting bus stop shelter at what is called the Kidman Ave bus stop on

Torquay Rd.

Firstly, the wooden roof is so wet it has changed colour and looks as if it is ready to drop off.

The tin on either side is a rusted mess with graffiti on it.

The wooden seat is filthy.

The bus shelter should be demolished.

The bus shelter on the other side of Torquay Rd, going to Waurn Ponds, is not like this, as a new shelter was erected some years ago.

Why don’t they put one like this in and make life pleasant while waiting for the bus to Geelong?

I have been here over 15 years and it has not changed. Words fail this bus shelter.
