Jemma Ryan and Jarrod Malone’s love for each other was evident the moment they locked eyes while Jemma was walking down the aisle. Tears of joy were flowing, not only because they were finally able to say “I do” after having to postpone their wedding nearly a year due to Covid, but because they were so excited to become husband and wife. The pair married on the Monday before Melbourne Cup in front of 73 guests at Rocklea Farm. Jemma kept an open mind when shopping for a wedding dress and after trying several on she was surprised at how hard it was to decide. “I ultimately went with the one I couldn’t stop thinking about,” she says. Her second dress was a late addition and she decided not to tell a soul so it would be a big surprise. “I got changed right before our first dance and the reaction of my friends was priceless,” she smiles.
