Despite it pouring rain on their wedding day Maddy Morris and Nick Lawrance couldn’t have been happier. They moved their ceremony indoors at The Barn in Wallington and while a bit squishy, Maddy says it made it much more intimate and special. Maddy had loved a dress by Grace Loves Lace for many years and when it came to trying it on as a potential wedding dress, she knew it was the one. “I felt comfortable in it and it felt like me,” she smiles, adding she also did a cartwheel in it on the dancefloor. Her advice to couples planning a wedding would be to choose a venue with a wet weather option. “You wouldn’t expect rain in January but on our day it poured,” she laughs.
