POLLIES NEED TO GET ON BOARD PUSH FOR SOLAR

IT was heartening to read that Geelong is embracing rooftop solar (Locals flick the switch, GA, 11/5).

While Highton dad Behzad Falahati has saved $600 since December, his main reason for installing solar was because of climate change and doing his bit for his kids.

It was very encouraging to read that there is now “greater capacity now available on the network” and

Powercor is inviting solar customers to reapply for a new export agreement.

Now it’s the turn of our political leaders to do their bit and, fortunately, we get to choose who they are very soon.
