FALCONS GUN SETFTO TAKE FLIGHT IN GFL

- OLLIE NASH

YOUNG gun Euriah Hollard will be back in Newtown & Chilwell colours this weekend, named to make his senior debut for the club against South Barwon.

The Geelong Falcons star (pictured) did not feature for the Eagles in 2021 due to NAB League commitments and Covid interruptions.

Hollard has not managed a game to date this season either, having played the opening five rounds in the NAB League as well as two games with the Young Guns side against Vic Metro and Vic Country in the last fortnight.

He has been a consistent contributor in front of goals for the Falcons this season, booting nine majors and averaging 16.2 disposals, three tackles and 3.4 inside 50s a game, and is set to add another dimension to Newtown & Chilwell's dangerous forward line.

Meanwhile, star North Shore midfielder Jason Davenport will miss his side’s clash with St Albans owing to AFL Academy coaching commitments.
