TOP MARKS FOR A BOLD, BRIGHT EDUCATION

-

TORQUAY College is marking Education Week with a splash of colour and a reflection on what the school community achieved throughout Covid.

As part of the May 22-28 celebration, coinciding with 150 years of public education in Victoria, students have dressed up in house colours.

Assistant principal Amy Snow said it added “a little spark” to the week.

“We chose to celebrate Education Week to remind ourselves of how lucky we are and what we have available to us in public education,” she said.

“We continue to be impressed with the level of dedication and commitment our teachers have shown and continue to show our students and their families.”

The school will run guided tours and open classrooms during this week, and will hold a virtual assembly on Friday.
