ILKAY Gundogan hailed Manchester City’s “incredible” Premier League title triumph as the German midfielder came off the bench to spark its astonishing fightback to beat Aston Villa 3-2 on the last day of the season.
Pep Guardiola’s side was in grave danger of blowing the title after falling two goals behind at home, with a victory required to secure the trophy over Liverpool.
But Gundogan proved City’s supersub as he score in the 76th minute and backed it up with another five minutes later.
City finished just one point ahead of Liverpool.
At the other end of the table, the relegation battle also went down to the wire with winger Jack Harrison scoring for Leeds United in the 94th minute to stave off relegation and send Burnley to the Championship.
