Kissing releases endorphins and oxytocin, which makes you feel happy and less stressed!

French kissing uses all 34 of the muscles in your face.

The French didn’t invent kissing – British soldiers called it ‘French kissing’ after seeing how passionately the French people would kiss.

Cows, puffins, squirrels and even snails also kiss, but it looks more like awkward face touching. Chimpanzees are the only animals whose kiss resembles a human kiss.

The kiss symbol ‘X’ is from the Middle Ages when many people couldn’t read or write. Peasants would write ‘X’ instead of a signature and then they would kiss the document.
