Global 100 Inspirational Leaders Methodology

We are delighted to announce the release of the much-awaited Global 100 Inspirational Leaders - 2023, Special Edition. Our team has dug deep to uncover the impactful leaders in different arenas of technology, politics, business, social causes, and more. The leaders were selected from countries as diverse as the USA, Australia, Kenya, Syria, India, China, Japan, Spain, Afganisthan, Ukraine, Israel, Denmark, New Zealand, Nigeria, Chile, Mexico, Russia, and the United Kingdom. Our Selection Committee went through hundreds of nominations and calculated the scores of 1000+ candidates to showcase the Top 100 of the most deserving candidates worldwide.

Leadership Score:

We started by assessing the leadership score by diving deep to understand and embody what it takes to lead effectively. The score comprises of various factors, including adaptability, vision, calculated risktaking, and innovation. The scores were also based on empathy and thriving work cultures created by their leaders, especially during the wake of burnout and the quiet quitting phenomenon among employees.

Business Impact Score:

Secondly, we looked at all the impact categories selected and rated them by the number of people they helped, the number of countries their company caters to, and the overall impact they have had on the lives of all stakeholders of the company.

Philanthropy Score:

Thirdly, we estimated each leader’s total lifetime giving by looking into public filings, company press reports, and more. We also researched the percentage of their wealth donated and weighed these two factors equally to score people accordingly. Other factors included whether they pledged significant donations or were personally involved in their charitable giving and how effectively their private foundations had distributed money.

Sustainability Score:

In addition to philanthropy, we also decided to give sustainability warriors their dues for rising above monetary gains and helping climate-vulnerable societies to minimize the effects of climate change. They were ranked based on how their organizations pivoted to new strategies to reach netzero carbon levels and whether they were personally involved in this mission or did so with the help of donations.

Self-Made Score:

Lastly, the leaders were also ranked to acknowledge the individuals who have worked relentlessly to become self-made business professionals as a result of pure determination and hard work.
