Welcome to the ninth-annual Leisure Lifestyle Edition. Now that the COVID vaccine is becoming more widely available and more popular destinations begin to reopen to vaccinated travelers, it’s time to start planning your next vacation. After the year and a half we’ve had, you deserve to escape your everyday life and embark on a luxurious, relaxing leisure trip.
As someone who loves to travel and has a growing bucket list of destinations, I have been itching to explore during the shutdown. Since the pandemic began, I’ve made weekend trips to places near my hometown — the Jersey Shore, the Pocono Mountains, Annapolis and others. Now I am ready to head out and start exploring destinations farther afield that are open to vaccinated U.S. travelers.
In this issue we highlight some of the best literary destinations, worldwide events to attend in 2022, attractions for thrillseekers and much more. We couldn’t present the Leisure Lifestyle Edition without congratulating our Leisure Lifestyle award winners — turn to page 8 to read about some familiar and new brands, destinations and products.
