SEEKING OUTDOOR ADVENTURE THIS SUMMER?
United Airlines recently announced more than 100 new flights to U.S. and Canadian destinations this summer, including some of North America’s most picturesque cities. The new routes connect travelers to places where they can get outdoors and explore scenic destinations, national parks and mountain towns. The carrier will operate its largest schedule to Alaska in 10 years, and will have almost 70 daily flights to national park locales like Bozeman, Montana; Jackson Hole, Wyoming; and Kalispell, Montana. “We know people want to get outdoors this summer and United is making it easier than ever to get to fun destinations across North America,” said Patrick Quayle, senior vice president of Network Planning and Alliances, United Airlines. “From adding non-stop service to places previously only reachable through multiple connections to leveraging our relationships with airline partners like Air Canada, we’re giving customers lots of options to unlock new experiences.” United’s position as the largest U.S. carrier to Canada only gets stronger this summer, with the airline serving nine Canadian cities with more than 150 daily average flights between the two countries. Highlights include the resumption of routes like Halifax to Newark; larger aircraft on select routes; and more flights to popular destinations like Toronto, Calgary and Ottawa. Ten daily flights on average to Alaska take off this summer, including the only non-stop from Washington, D.C., to Anchorage. Overall, United will offer something for travelers from all seven of its U.S. hubs this summer, including 40 new North American flights from both Denver and Houston. Here’s even more to look forward to: Denver continues to serve as a major gateway to national parks, and more than 100 routes from Denver will be on mainline aircraft, the most in more than 20 years! Non-stop service to Ontario, California, from Houston resumes in May, returning for the first time since 2022; other new summer flights from Houston include Tampa, Boston, Charleston, and Miami. Two Canadian destinations, Winnipeg and Quebec City, return to Chicago O’hare International Airport, as well as daily flights to Yellowstone National Park and Aspen, Colorado. More than 20 new daily flights come to Dulles International Airport in Washington, D.C., this summer, including to Vancouver. More flights to Hawai’i depart Los Angeles International Airport; travelers can seek the sun in Honolulu and Kauai thanks to United. The outdoors await New York City residents with new United options from Newark Liberty International Airport, including two daily flights to Yellowstone during the peak summer season. From SFO, travelers enjoy daily flights to Calgary and Honolulu. Tickets for all the new non-stop flights are now on sale on the United app or at United.com.
