There has long been a trade-off in irons between precision and distance but with Mizuno’s JPX900 Forged irons such a trade-off is no longer required.

Increased distance and forgiveness are achieved through Mizuno’s PowerFrame design, which increases stability, perimeter weighting and ball speed, even on off-centre hits. Ball speed is further enhanced by the JPX900 Forged’s milled pocket and multi thickness face.

The mid-size head inspires confidence behind the ball, while remaining compact enough for better players. The short irons (8-GW) are smaller still for ultimate shot-shaping control.

While the Boron, which is known for its strength, infused into the steel allows the JPX900 Forged to play like a distance iron in spite of its small size, Mizuno’s famous Grain Flow forging technique ensures the JPX900 Forged has the trademark Mizuno feel, allowing players the best of both worlds.

Mizuno’s Performance Fitting System offers a wide variety of graphite and steel shafts in a range of flexes. With no upcharge for any of the 16 shafts offered in the performance system, the JPX900 Forged irons fit as good as they feel. RRP: $239 (per iron).
