MORE SPEED, DISTANCE AND CONTROL

-

Originally introduced in 2018 after an extended retail market test and positioned alongside the Pro V1 and Pro V1x as the softest feeling, lowest flying and spinning premium option in the Titleist range, the AVX has been refined for 2020. Developed through feedback from golfers using the previous version, the new AVX offers improved all round performance and an even softer feel. “In our ongoing discussions with golfers, we are constantly meeting players who tell us, ‘AVX is the ball I’d been waiting for,’ ” Senior Product Manager, Titleist Golf Balls said Frederick Waddell said. “At the same time, we’ve been able to lean on those golfers to better understand how they experience AVX and what we can do to help them shoot lower scores. “The improvements to AVX are a direct result of their insights and the inventiveness of our R&D team to take this design to the next level – and we expect golfers to see better numbers across the board. The new AVX is faster and longer, it performs better around green, and delivers even more of the incredibly soft feel that golfers love about this product.” The larger, reformulated low compression core, which produces the AVX’s softer feel, works together with a redesigned high flex casing layer to create a distance enhancing combination of more ball speed and reduced spin with the longer clubs, while the specifically designed thinner cast urethane cover produces greater spin and control. Available in white and high optic yellow, the new AVX maintains its low and consistent flight through a unique catenary aerodynamic dimple design. SRP: $76.95 (dozen).
