A polo shirt made from recycled material.

Evolution is everywhere in the game of golf. From the equipment used to the way golf courses are cared for, change and the need to move with the times are a constant. And Adidas is pioneering the same concept in apparel.

Based on the idea of golf clothes that can be worn anywhere and to remove the need for golf specific clothing, the company’s new Go-To line is designed to be worn on the go. The new range is headlined by the new Go-To Polo.

Created with versatility in mind, the new polo features colours and materials to transcend the course, as well as a set-in raglan cut that is sportier in appearance while offering greater range of motion and a more modern fit. Available for both men and women, the polo is accompanied in the Go-To range by a Pique polo, men’s 5-pocket pant and short, women’s short and skort, as well as a commuter pant, all of which are part of the PRIME GREEN series that utilises recycled materials with the end goal of “using 100 percent recycled polyester in all our products by 2024” according to Adidas. The Go-To Polo is made from 89 percent recycled material.

“This polo, and the Go-To Collection as a whole, is a huge positive step forward for golf fashion,” global director of apparel, adidas Golf Shaun Madigan said.

“It’s very rewarding to be able to introduce versatile options that provide both style and function that golfers want and need, while also giving them a sense of satisfaction every time they put these pieces on before heading out to the first tee – or wherever the day takes them – that they are doing something good for the world and our environment.”

Featuring a flexible collar construction that allows for golfers to pull the polo on like a t-shirt with all the buttons done up without ever losing shape, the Go-To polo is available now and offers UV 50+ protection from the sun.
