TaylorMade’s new line of premium flat sticks.

If there is a club to invest your hard-earned money in, it makes the most sense to make it a putter because it is the club you will use most per round. No matter your skill level.

TaylorMade has re-entered the premium putter market with the hope that golfers will see the value of a high performance, impressive-looking new wand. The new TP Hydro Blast range covers the spectrum of putter styles and neck types to suit every golfer and every putting stroke.

Comprising of seven models, the new range features soft, flowing lines and the Hydro Blast finish first introduced into the Spider X range from the company.

Achieved through the use of a highpressure application of water to the 303 stainless steel heads, the finish is as durable as it is pleasing to look at.

The use of 303 stainless steel falls right in line with other top of the line options in the market, while the ‘White Pure Roll’ insert borrowed once again from the PGA Tour-winning Spider X line-up of mallets and adds performance and Tour preferred feel.

Grooves in the insert are angled downward at 45° to help impart a better roll on the ball at impact in every model of the TP Hydro Blast series, which are named for iconic golf regions.

“We relied on precision milling and the new Hydro Blast finish to deliver an artisan look to this family of premium putters. Through clean aesthetics, time-honoured shaping and superior feel, we’ve blended the modern with the traditional to create a new class of classic,” TaylorMade’s Bill Price says.

Already finding their way into the bags of multiple of the best players in the world, the range includes three blade options and four mallets.

The Soto is the classic blade of the bunch equipped with a plumbers neck, while the Del Monte is offered in a plumbers neck and single bend hosel option and owns a wide body blade head to blend mallet and blade benefits and performance.

The double-winged mallet, Bandon, has been used at times by both Dustin Johnson and Tommy Fleetwood recently, and is available in plumbers and slant neck varieties, with the larger-headed, face-balanced mallets, Dupage and Chaska, both featuring single bend shaft. www.taylormadegolf.com.au
