Adelaide hosts a three-course event; Gimme Golf’s Perth tour; A links round to remember; A play and stay package in the Barossa Valley and Greg Norman signs on for new South Australian course.

How’s your game looking at the moment? If it’s not where you would like it to be, it’s time to dust off the clubs and hit the practice range, because you’ve got two months to prepare for this unique three-day stableford tournament in Adelaide.

Tour the Greens, an Australian golf travel specialist co-owned by former PGA Tour player Paul Gow, will be holding the “Adelaide 3 Day Final Championship” from November 27-29 to conclude its “Your Event Series” which started in Sydney in March.

Those who have played in more than one event will arrive at the tournament with order of merit points, as they attempt to be crowned national champion. However, people are free to compete in any of the events in the leadup – and this is one not to be missed.

The tournament will begin at Links Lady Bay Resort, move to The Grange Golf Club and conclude at Royal Adelaide Golf Club.

Links Lady Bay features stunning ocean views, world-class par-3s and was ranked No.70 in Australia’s Top-100 Courses for 2020 by Golf Australia magazine.

The Grange is another heavy hitter in the ranking – at No.43 (East Course) and No.38 (West Course) – and has hosted numerous national championships, including the Women’s Australian Open in 2019 and 2016.

Royal Adelaide, meanwhile, recently achieved its highest-ever ranking in Australia’s Top-100 Courses at No.9, thanks in large part to work completed by world-renowned course architect Tom Doak. It is, without question, one of the world’s finest golf courses.

Packages for Tour the Greens’ threeday event start from $1,335 per person and include: three rounds of golf at the aforementioned courses; three nights’ accommodation at Oaks Horizon; most ground transfers; welcome pack; and prizes.

If the event is cancelled due to COVID-19, all players will receive a 100 percent refund or credit towards the rescheduled event.
