Ocean Shores Country Club

There’s never been a better time to play a round at Ocean Shores as this year marks the Club’s 50th Anniversary of the course which was designed by the team of Bruce Devlin and Robert von Hagge.

The Championship layout is carved through native flora, tidal lakes, and rivers with the Koonyum Mountain ranges as a backdrop. This spectacular golf course perfectly captures the picturesque beauty of Northern New South Wales.

The 18-hole layout comprises six par-3s, six par-4s and six par-5s, with the same par never being played consecutively. This distribution adds to the unique nature of the course.

One of the standout features of the course is the large greens that are protected by extensive bunkering. With a combination of tifdwarf and tifeagle greens they are some of the purest and quickest putting surfaces you’ll play on. Playing Ocean Shores is easy, if you hold a GA handicap, there are numerous competitions played throughout the week or if you’re just looking for a social game, there’s lots of options to choose from.

Ocean Shores Country Club is not just a golfing destination; there is also lawn bowls and a swimming pool. With a spectacular deck that overlooks the Pacific Ocean all the way to Byron Bay, it’s a great destination for weddings, conferences and functions. The Club offers great catering options from the team at Horizons Bistro.

The club boasts a fully stocked pro shop catering for both your golf and lawn bowls’ needs. Golf tuition is also available from Certified PGA Professional Chris Graham.
