Puppy love

Good Health (Australia) - - Be Informed -

There’s an evolutionary reason why we find puppies so cute. Researchers from Arizona State University’s canine-science laboratory found that it’s no accident that people consistently rate puppies as most attractive when they’re six to eightweeks-old: it aligns with a crucial developmental milestone. At around eight weeks, mothers stop nursing their puppies, and once puppies are weaned, they rely on humans for survival. Evolution comes into play so that when puppies need us most, we’re most likely to find them irresistible.
