Having always been interested in hairdressing, she used to experiment with her own hair as well as her friends’ during high school before making it a full-time career (she has worked at Auckland salon Vada for four years). “It’s a really tangible expression of creativity that your client wears every day, which makes me proud when I send my work out into the world.”
