I only recently found Good magazine (at the Go Green Expo in Christchurch) and I have to say it is transforming the way I see and think about the world we live in. Your magazine is building my understanding of how we can practically influence the future of our planet by raising awareness and encouraging a different way of thinking; making better, sustainable choices today. But the reason I put pen to paper (or fingers to keys in this case) is to thank you for the most amazing life tip in “LIfe hacks & facts” (issue 62), which has transformed our household – putting jars/candle holders in the freezer to remove the old wax! I tested this tip immediately and it works like a charm. Ngā mihi nui. Amanda Derry

Your latest magazine (issue 64) was the best yet. It was excellent to see a positive article about keto. I have digestive enzyme deficiencies and can not eat gluten, sugar, carbs, dairy or fruit (yes most foods)! During a good phase I have found keto recipes and the keto facebook group, a life saver. To have discovered some treat options again felt like a miracle. Olivia

Subscribing to Good magazine was an impulse decision at the Hamilton Women’s Lifestyle Expo. My hands were full with a jacket, handbag and a few purchases, so I nearly decided that it was just easier to pass the stall. Fortunately, I decided to stop and flick through the latest issue, 64. Instantly I saw articles I wanted to read and decided to sign up. I brought the magazine away with me over Queen’s

Birthday Weekend and literally devoured most of the articles. I’m passionate about ecological matters and was amazed to see and read about the lengths that some people go, to make this earth we live on a better place. The health and wellbeing articles actually made me stop and think about my life at present and the things I want to change. Such a good read. I can’t wait for my next issue! Jana Hart

I am so happy I stumbled upon the Good magazine stand at the Wellington Go Green Expo last year and bought myself a subscription. It is such a beautiful publication, with tonnes of conscientious, useful information. The article about how to use essential oils safely (issue 64) was so incredibly timely and valuable. Thank you for highlighting the danger of ingesting essential oils. The trend to put essential oils in food is increasingly becoming normalised, which is irresponsible. Thank you for the affirmation it is okay to question and refuse if in doubt. Christina Totina

We are always on the lookout for good food choices, and your pages are full of ideas. I’m also impressed with the range of articles in each issue. This time I discovered keto and CBD oil (issue 64). My brother has drug-resistant epilepsy, his specalists have been trying different meds for years. He is now 60. I never even considered asking about alternatives, let alone a specific diet. It’s worth trying if there’s a chance it may improve his life – it’s never too late. P.S. We also loved the Christchurch guide and will take those pages with us on our next trip. Kat & Mark
