We agree with Converse – ‘life is too short to waste’, which is why it’s cool Converse Renew shoes, styled on the iconic Chuck Taylor, are fashioned from recycled polyester made from used plastic bottles. The statement slogan appears on the shoes, priced from $120, and despite its new material, the upper has the original canvas feel. The laces are also made from recycled polyester. The Renew range also includes upcycled uppers made from worn denim jeans.
