Cup of charity

New Zealand’s homegrown tea brand Charity Tea offers much more than quality loose-leaf tea. Every purchase feeds a hungry child, from the island of Haiti to deprived communities on our very own doorstep. Charity Tea founder Gill Bredl manages this not-forprofit and aims to stamp out child hunger with every brew. “Businesses can make a difference by adding social enterprise to their supply chain, and without spending further money,” says Bredl. “For example, if a business decided to add Charity Tea to their staffroom and ordered 1kg of tea per month we could provide up to 30 meals for hungry children.” charitytea.co.nz
