· Various grades of sandpaper

· Furniture with vinyl or a low-pile, tight-weave fabric

· 1 litre Resene Lustacryl, waterborne semi-gloss enamel in a colour of your choice. We used Resene Bokara Grey

· Dropcloth

· Paintbrushes

· Masking tape
