WALL COLOURS

Many articles wax on about the latest trending colour in children’s rooms or how a gender-neutral scheme is the only way to go. I would hate for parents to feel bad because they haven’t painted their kid’s room in a carefully chosen colour. Let the existing colour scheme in the house flow into the kid’s room. Many of us already have a variation of white on our walls, and it’s a perfect blank slate for a room that needs to adapt to different stages of growth. I may look to repaint the walls if the existing paint is high-intensity red or orange – energising colours like these will keep your child wide-eyed and buzzed (not ideal).
