Bum huggers

-

Not-for-profit Great Full’s latest limited-edition print project is putting celebrated Kiwi artists’ work on undies to raise funds for bowel cancer. New works by Misery, Flox, Dick Frizzell, Michel Tuffery, Shane Hansen and Ruby Jones feature in a quirky underwear range that Great Full’s founder Melissa Gardi has cheekily called ‘Bum Huggers’. According to Bowel Cancer New Zealand, more people die of bowel cancer in New Zealand each year than breast and prostate cancers combined. This isn’t something that only affects our older generations – increasingly those in their 20s or 30s are being diagnosed. With awareness and an early diagnosis, bowel cancer is treatable and we can help find a cure. Made in New Zealand using organic cotton and water-based inks, and priced at $40 a pair, Bum Huggers are delivered in plant-based, compostable packaging. All profits will go to Bowel Cancer New Zealand and the artists all donated their work.
