Your article in issue 70 on owning your superpowers absolutely resonated with me. As a mum working full time I often dwell on my weaknesses. I am only just discovering that being kind to my mind, body and soul and honouring both my strengths and weaknesses is such an empowering superpower in itself. Fitting in mediation, yoga and moving my body helps me tune into my emotions and truly get to the root of things as they arise. I want to say thank you Good magazine for inspiring readers to embrace their true selves and not be deterred by what others may think. Life is too short not to be your authentic self. C Murphy, Hamilton

Hi Good mag, I just read your article ‘Being Child Free and Why That’s OK’ (issue 68). Thank you for writing this and sharing the subjects’ experiences. It was a great article to read. This was the first time I’ve picked up your magazine and I will certainly be reading more :) Bonnie

I’ve been reading a lot about detox systems lately and have tried but just find that they are short term and the benefits don’t last. I found Ben Warren’s article on nutrition (issue 70) really helpful and I’m now trying the five keys to a daily detox lifestyle. What I’ve realised is that detox isn’t a fad and needs to be ongoing without being so extreme that you’re never going to do it. After reading the article

I’ve committed to less toxins so have reduced alcohol and highly processed foods and am now adding more wholefoods to my diet. It’s only been a few weeks and I feel a lot better. I think this is a realistic regime and I’m committed to it long-term. S Goodall, Wellington

Dear Good, Just so you all know I’m pretty awesome, seriously, reading ‘Super Squad’ (issue 70) made me realise that we all have our strengths and our weaknesses and we can all make a difference in this world. The wellbeing section took interest for me because I am having problems with cracked skin everywhere! Your paper that you are using is so good! I would flip through it all day if I could! Thanks for making me remember that I’m super. Love, Matilda

I shall celebrate spring, my favourite time of year, firstly with your issue 70 ‘Spring Style Edit’ with some of your favourite selects for spring – what could be a better start than that? The beauty article ‘Crystal Infused Skincare’ was inventive, coming up with new ideas. And I love the sound of Heidi’s skin care range, Ora Wellbeing. Finally, your Good Thought, ‘You are allowed to just be’, looks brilliant on my bedroom door. Audrey Shepherd, New Plymouth

Hey Carolyn, Hope you are keeping well! As I am flipping through the pages of Good in one of the libraries in Auckland, I cannot stop myself sending you a big thanks for this great magazine. Really excellent effort. Keep it up. Cheers, Vinay
