Even though it’s tempting to retreat to the middle of our comfort zone at times, nothing new happens there. It might be safe but it’s also predictabl­e. Sign yourself up for some new moves. Explore various options, don’t pick something just to cross it off the list. Identify what you want to gain first, then choose something that interests you, or choose several things and try a beginner’s class on each:

· For adrenalin; try bungy-jumping, or paintball · For strength building; try rock-climbing or kickboxing

· For increased focus; try archery or target-shooting

· For aerobic fitness; try swimming or trampolini­ng

· For flexibilit­y; try a yoga or ballet class

Y? Trying new things expands our thinking, challenges our preconcept­ions, and gives us a chance to look at life from a different perspectiv­e. Change is the essence of life. Be willing to surrender what you are for what you could become.
