In New Zealand, the cost of internet connection has almost halved since 2007.
· Eggs
Between 1959 and 2009 the cost of eggs went down by more than two-thirds, from more than $10 for a dozen to just $3.55
· Vehicle licensing
Getting a rego has dropped in price by 45 per cent in the last decade.
