I have been a reader of your magazine for some time now, but have never written in to you. I felt I just had to this month though as this edition has blown me away. I have done two courses in Ayurveda, so was absolutely delighted to see this topic featured all throughout the pages. And oh my, all the beautiful retreats, I want to go on them all they look and sound just what I need. I read the article on the Kansa Wand and promptly went to my computer and ordered one, superfast delivery by the way. It makes my skin feel divine and is a lovely calm special time for me while I’m doing it too, adore it and highly recommend buying one. Once again thanks so much for all the hard work you all do on making this magazine the best one on the market, well that’s what I think. This issue really has inspired me. Joanne
I recently renewed my subscription to Good Magazine at the Go Green Expo in Christchurch. I’m so pleased I did! While in the throes of lockdown again, with all my books packed as we’re shifting house soon, I was planning on the library for reading material. In Level 4 I was overjoyed to receive the latest issue of Good in the mail. A cuppa, a quiet space and cracking open a brand new issue of Good is about as close to freedom as I can get right now. What a lockdown delight Good has been! I am so impressed with the way people are talking openly about their challenges with mental health and their wellbeing journeys. Chelsea Winter is one of those people, brave, honest and working on living a good life. Her reflections on success were so insightful. She reminds us to think about success in the context of our whole lives, that success is a mindset, it is different for each of us and will change during our lives. I especially liked her reflection of truly celebrating the success of others and not negatively judging ourselves against their successes. Sharing personal journeys is powerful. Thank you for bringing this to us for our own life journeys. Sally
