Standard Issue x BENEE
Over the past two years, Country Retreat Animal Sanctuary has rescued and rehomed more than 300 puppies, including singer Stella Bennett’s dog, Tui. Best known as the artist BENEE, Bennett has collaborated with knitwear label Standard Issue to create a limited edition New Zealand merino vest, $199, from which 100 per cent of the sales profits will go to the Sanctuary. standardissue.co.nz

BAGS FOR BORNEO
Carrying the groceries just became more meaningful with Borneo Bags.
The sale of each sturdy, handwoven reusable shopping bag helps employ and empower Penan Tribe women through social enterprise Penan Women Project. Borneo Bags founder and CEO Jacky McLaren, who also helped establish the Penan Women Project, works with 80+ weavers on product development, design, colour and sizing for the New Zealand market.
The bags are made from recyclable polypropylene pallet strapping or rattan and come in a range of bright colours and monochromatic shades.
Musical jammies for Cure Kids
Musicians Ladyhawke, Anika Moa, Hollie Smith, Neil Finn, SOL3MIO and Tami Neilson have collaborated with Kiwi not-for-profit Great Full to help create a limited-edition line of organic cotton “Jams” for children aged two to 10.
All profits from the range go to Cure Kids, which funds child health research. Ladyhawke’s artwork, Mokonui, means “big lizard” and is inspired by a watercolour painting that Sarah Larnach made for her single, “Back of the Van”. “Sarah and I have a long history of collaborating – she’s my best friend and she does all of my album artwork. For this project, Sarah and I felt that the artwork had to be dinosaurs. Both our daughters love dinosaurs. Every kid loves dinosaurs!” greatfull.co.nz
