Period care underwear brand AWWA has been selected by the judges of the Best of Natural Awards as a winner in the lifestyle category for a second time in a row (find out who the other winners are on pages 40-46). And that’s not all! The female owned and run business founded by Michele Wilson received its B Corp certification in June, becoming one of only seven Kiwi apparel brands to do so. To date, AWWA has saved 23 million single use period products from ending up in landfills and waterways, and this number continues to grow every day as others make the decision to move to a more sustainable period product.
