Chow Downs: Recipes from the Down Syndrome Community of Aotearoa printed by the UpsideDown­s Education Trust, contains more than 50 recipes from children with Down syndrome and their whānau, aged from two all the way up to teenagers, including Amber McGillicud­dy-Hall (pictured) who shares her recipe for cheese pu s. There are also recipes from celebrity guests Mike McRoberts, Dame Denise L’Estrange-Corbet, and Leisel Shepherd, as well as a collaborat­ion with Garden to Table to bring you a recipe in te reo Māori. A dietary code identifies vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and nut-free options.
