Teaming up with a couple of pals from his attentiongrabbing first restaurant, Loam, Aaron Turner has created a gorgeous eating experience in the gritty backblocks of Geelong. Cooking over charcoal, sourcing local, unafraid of bold bursts of flavour (we’re looking at you, chicken skin and cod roe), celebrating small winemakers and throwing together a smart room on an indie budget, Team Igni is the real deal. Sincere rather than earnest and a whole lot of tasty.
