Each trip offers a choice of six different themes: Photography; Food, Wine & Spirits; Active Exploration; Nature & Science; History & Perspective; Arts & Culture. No matter where you’re heading, you can dive into one theme or pick and choose different activities from each, doing as much (or as little) as you please. Whether it’s photographing the vibrant colours of a Tahitian market, climbing the volcanic peaks of Bora Bora,

The inaugural voyages on Holland America Line’s spacious, mid-sized ship, Maasdam, will help guests explore South America, Polynesia, Australia and New Zealand plus Southeast Asia, the Maldives and Sri Lanka. The Maasdam also carries zodiacs (inflatable, lightweight boats) made famous by explorer and researcher Jacques Cousteau, allowing any of the 1200 guests to become contemporary explorers.
