South Australia’s vast food scene will be showcased by some of the country’s best chefs when Tasting Australia returns this year. Program highlights from the bumper 200 events include the sustainabi­lity-leaning Town Square Kitchen dinners; plus Morgan McGlone (Sunday) and Victor Liong’s (Lee Ho Fook) creative tribute to instant cup noodles. A lush long lunch will see Quay’s Peter Gilmore join forces with Beach Byron Bay’s Alanna Sapwell and local favourite Paul Baker; and Chin Chin will pop up at one of the Barossa’s best-known wineries, Yalumba. Tasting Australia Airlines will also return with chartered flights to Coffin Bay, Coober Pedy and beyond, with lauded chefs cooking at each of the exclusive destinatio­ns.
