“The overarchin­g theme is French/gypsy jazz mixed with a little low-key Afro jazz and swing,” says Swillhouse Group co-owner Stefan Forte, whose list is a showcase of his favourites from the many playlists he’s compiled for his characterf­ul French bistro Restaurant Hubert over the years. “I chose Henry Mancini’s Lujon because it transports you to another world – and it’s also from the dream scene in The Big Lebowski,” Forte says. “Another which completely fits into the Hubert universe is Serge Gainsbourg’s Intoxicate­d Man. It’s cheeky, sexy and entices me to get up to no good.”
