GQ (Australia) - - TASTE + TRAVEL -

The grand maestro of the San Juan mountains has something for everyone, with nearly 810 hectares of skiable terrain to a serviced elevation of 3815 metres. Nearly 60 per cent is aimed at intermediates or beginners, while more experienced types are catered for in and around The Plunge, Revelation Bowl and Gold Hill. Runs are long (leg-burner Galloping Goose sits at 7.4 km in length), generally quite wide and impeccably groomed with the pow days offering limitless fun playing in and around the trees – memories we’ll long hold dear.
