Katanning’s men’s shed has been given a boost with $6500 in Federal funding to refurbish its toilets.

The men’s shed received funding as part of the Government’s national shed development program.

O’Connor MP Rick Wilson also announced $2250 in funding for Cranbrook’s men’s shed to purchase a defibrillator. “These men’s sheds offer support to any local men who need a bit of space and some friendly, easy-going company,” he said.

“Men are often the last ones to make their health and wellbeing a priority. It’s imperative that we do what we can to ensure they get the support they need and deserve.”
