Dreamteam recorded an up­set win in Katan­ning Bas­ket­ball As­so­ci­a­tion men’s com­pe­ti­tion knock­ing off Cava­liers 42-35.

It was a tough night for Cava­liers, who only had six play­ers against an in-form Dreamteam.

Ty­rone Roe was named man of the match af­ter notch­ing up 23 points.

In the other men’s game, Wild­cats de­feated Pythons 64-47 with Jay Black win­ning best player for the round.

In the women’s com­pe­ti­tion, Pan­thers de­feated Li­ons 2, 36-28, with Kait­lyn Eades of Pan­thers named best on court.

The clash be­tween Li­ons 1 and Wild­cats was de­cided af­ter the fi­nal buzzer af­ter scores were level at 40 at full-time.

Wild­cats fought back from six points down at half-time to push the game into ex­tra time, with Miriam Bolton calmly slot­ting two free throws af­ter the buzzer to se­cure the come-from-be­hind win.

Tigers de­feated Broome­hill 45-26. Ab­bie Win­tle was best player of the match. Pow­er­puff Girls smashed Cava­liers 80-9. Re­becca Al­tus was named best on court.
