Christ­mas on Clive Street

The big­gest-ever Christ­mas on Clive Street is set to bring fes­tive cheer to Katan­ning this Satur­day.

It will be the sev­enth edi­tion of the event which runs from 3pm un­til 7pm with more than 40 stalls on show fea­tur­ing food, craft, en­ter­tain­ment and rides.

There will be stalls fo­cused on Malay, Viet­namese and Chi­nese cui­sine, plus cakes, fairy floss, donuts and ice cream.

This year’s event fea­tures free rides and en­ter­tain­ment in­clud­ing the twin buck­ing bulls, merry-gor­ound, bouncy cas­tle, bas­ket­ball chal­lenge, climb­ing wall and slip­pery slide.

A St Patrick’s and Brae­side pri­mary schools’ com­bined choir will pro­vide en­ter­tain­ment in the town square from 3pm.

Al­bany band Big Men Work­ing will also hit the stage.

Father Christ­mas will be at­tend­ing from 4.30pm.

This year’s in-shop Christ­mas pro­mo­tion in­cludes a prize pack­age of ac­com­mo­da­tion and food at The Pre­mier Mill Ho­tel, for all those who shop at busi­nesses in the Shop Lo­cal Christ­mas cam­paign.
