Underground exit limited
PERTH Underground Station’s main exit is set to be severely limited for six months after Transperth announced the Murray Street exit would undergo refurbishment. Two escalators under the station’s Info Centre will be closed for about six months to replace the existing escalators. The stairs will also be limited during this time, while some ticket and add value machines will also be out of use during this time. Transperth has advised passengers to consider alternative exits, such as the 140 William Street exit which leads to Globe Lane. Work is ongoing at the platform’s centre to upgrade the escalator running from the Joondalup and Mandurah lines, which will be out of service until late 2018.
